Alumina Balls
for Petrochemical Catalyst Supports and the Fertilizer Industry HITO®-99
These balls are manufactured with a high percentage of alumina at its highest calcination rate, which gives them excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to thermal stress. Due to their high purity and low silica content, these balls are specially designed for high-temperature applications in harsh environments, where the action of acids and high-temperature steam is present. The HITO®-99 ball is especially recommended for use as a support for catalysts in the chemical and petrochemical industries. It is also exclusively used in secondary reformers at fertilizer plants, in their ammonia-urea production processes. It is also recommended for use as packing in packing towers. In addition to this application, they are also being successfully used in heat exchange applications, such as regenerative burners, and in Deep Bed Filters (DBFs) in the metal casting industry.
