High density alumina linings are used to avoid the contamination produced by oxide transferred to the material grinded in all types of ball mills. These linings are installed and fixed to the inside of the metallic part (drum) of the mill, avoiding  the balls, raw materials and water, to get in touch with the metallic drum.

HITO®, manufactures high density pieces (bricks) for all kind of diameter mills, from small ones starting at 600 mm up to 3,800 mm, or even bigger ones. The different lining thicknesses available are 40, 60, 70 and 100 mm, depending on the specific diameter of each mill and all the necessary applications.

It is extremely important for both lining maintenance and durability that the working milling conditions (speed mill rotation, balls charge, etc.), are the adequate. HITO® has available high qualified technicians for any specific advice for all our customers.
